How does Revel work?

Revel works like email. All your photos are securely stored in the cloud, and you can access them using the Revel app on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Best of all, everything you do in Revel is automatically synced across all your devices so you always have your latest photos and photo edits no matter what device you’re using.

How much does Revel cost?

Revel is free. With Revel you are able to import as many photos as you want for the first 30 days. After that you can import up to 50 photos every month.

If you take a lot of photos, we recommend you upgrade to Revel Premium, which lets you import as many photos as you want for $5.99 per month. You can upgrade to Revel Premium as an in-app purchase within the Revel app.

How much photo storage do I get?

The free version of Revel lets you import as many photos as you want for the first 30 days. After that you can import up to 50 photos every month.

If you subscribe to Revel Premium you can import as many photos as you want, anytime you want.

How do I purchase a Revel Premium subscription?

You can purchase a Revel Premium subscription as an in-app purchase within the Revel app on your iPhone or iPad. Simply open the Settings panel, click on your User ID, and then select the subscription plan that works best for you.

When does the monthly limit reset?

Your monthly import limit resets on the first of each calendar month at 12:01 PST.

What happens if I hit my monthly limit?

If you hit your monthly limit you won’t be able to import any more photos until the beginning of the next calendar month. Everything else in Revel will still work.

If you don’t want to wait till the start of the next month, you can upgrade to Revel Premium, which lets you import as many photos as you want for $5.99 per month. You can upgrade to Revel Premium as an in-app purchase within the Revel app.

Which file formats does Revel support?

Revel currently supports the JPEG file format.

How do I cancel my Revel subscription?

Month-to-month and annual Revel subscriptions will auto-renew until you cancel. You can cancel a subscription at any time on your iPhone or iPad.

To cancel using your iPhone or iPad:

  1. Launch the App store.
  2. With Featured selected, scroll down and tap the Apple ID button, then tap View Apple ID.
  3. Enter your password and tap OK.
  4. Scroll to and tap Manage App Subscriptions.
  5. Tap Adobe Revel in your list of subscriptions.
  6. Tap the subscription category that you’re turning off.
  7. Tap On to toggle Auto-Renewal to Off and cancel your subscription.
    • If you subsequently change your mind, tap your expired Revel subscription and tap Off to toggle Auto-Renewal back on.
  8. In the confirmation message, tap Turn Off to verify your action.

If you have iTunes installed, you can also manage your Revel subscription on your computer. Apple provides detailed instructions for managing auto-renewing subscriptions on your computer or iOS device at http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4098.

How long will you store my files after I stop using the service?

We store your files for up to two years after you stop using the service. You can remove your photos anytime you like by deleting them using the Revel app.

Does Revel work on PCs and Android™ devices?

No. Revel only works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. We do have plans to release Revel for Windows and Android in the future but don’t have specific timing for their release yet.

For users with Android phones you can download Revel Importer. Revel Importer is not a full version of Revel but it does give you a way to import the photos on your Android phone into your Revel photo library.

Is there a browser-based version of Revel?

Yes. You can access the web version of Revel at www.adoberevel.com. The web version of Revel includes almost all the features of Revel EXCEPT the ability to edit your photos. If you want to edit your photos you need to use the Revel app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
